When I first started my fitness journey 9 years ago, I only wanted to be a better footballer. This mostly meant getting stronger for defense tackles when I played in 2nd highest division for under 19 in Germany.
Having always been the "skinny guy", I followed trainer plans from Flex Magazine bodybuilders, along with my own intuition to get bigger. I quickly realised that despite doing 30 chest supersets per session, I wasn’t getting any results.
So I started analysing hundreds of studies to see what the leading scientists in this field had to say. I realised “a lot helps a lot” only gets you so far in strength training and muscle building. So, I developed my own plans.
